1868-2018

From the earliest days of their 150 year existence, the buildings of St James College have echoed with the sounds of students who have hailed from all walks of life and who have found here a place of welcome and acceptance.

From the most motley of street urchins to sons of the wealthy, St James has adapted to the challenge of providing an all-round education for them all.

Sketch of the school as it was in those days. First ‘classroom’ (top left) with Boundary St to the left.
