Jimmies keeping that community connection

City North News recently featured an article about our students who volunteer for the Jimmes Brekkie Van twice weekly to barbecue a breakfast of sausages, bacon and eggs for those less fortunate.

Assistant principal Identity at the school, Tricia Parry, said it was great for the students to connect with the community in this way.

“Our senior students learn a great deal about themselves as they take part in this very important service and social justice activity,” Ms Parry said.

Jimmies Brekkie Van is an initiative of the school, established in 2007, and can be found at Kemp Place, Ivory St, opposite the fire station on Wednesdays and Fridays.
