House Spirit
House spirit is fundamental to student wellbeing so they feel a sense of belonging while at the college.
The house system ensures that students engage with students from all year levels under one banner in sporting, social, and co-curricular activities. These interactions mean younger students have mentors to look up to and older students support the younger students.
The four houses – Carey, Hogan, Long, and Mary Rice – are the basis of the wellbeing program and house system which incorporates multi-age home rooms, buddy systems, retreats, and camps as well as regular advocacy and spirit events.
Students strive within their houses to build upon friendships and wellbeing with competitions and interhouse events, whilst coming together with a shared goal of inclusive community.
